Easy mail

by Clair Witmer

Tucson, Arizona Ð Promising "e-mail anywhere, anytime," Pinnacle Research began a beta program August 1 for its Pinnacle Transfer e-mail package. The $249 software was scheduled to ship September 1.

The app is designed to provide remote access to NeXTmail and UNIX mail without file-transfer software or decoding of NeXTmail messages. The software also sends outgoing messages and allows files to be browsed and copied and UNIX commands to be executed.

Custom modules can be added for connectivity to non-NEXTSTEP UNIX applications.
