I just noticed this computer in the file archive, who is the owner? - Im interested in knowing about whats under the hood, and what it can do!
Current setup:
Headless NeXTstation Mono | 25Mhz 68040 | 8MB Ram | 105MB Hard Disk | (source server)
w/ i386 Dumb terminal

It's a very early 68030 Cube, with standard hardware. The label is a joke on the Cube's capacities as it included circuitry on just two VLSI chips which used to take a whole mainframe to have this capability.
NeXT Cube 040 (NeXTSTEP 3.3), SUN SparcStation5 (NeXTSTEP 3.3), SGI Indigo2 R10000 (IRIX 6.5.22), SGI VSW320 (Windows 2000/Slakware 9.1)

So are they a cube? Were they released before or after the NeXT Computer?

Just preproduction models of the NeXT Cube Computer, so pretty damn rare. The only diffrerence is the lettering on the back!
