Most apps I can find are either .pkg and one or two in .iso which previous cannot mount.

side question: Where is there a download for Virtuoso?

What OS are you running Previous on and what version of Previous are you running?

Ok, easiest thing to do is put the pkg files you want to use into a directory.

Download Folder2ISO. Makes the folder into an ISO image. Keep it under 660mb.

When you start Previous, go to SCSI disks. go to an open line, change the <- -> to CDROM and then browse to the ISO image just created. Then boot the emulator. Your ISO will be mounted as a faux CDROM and you can copy or run the files from it to install them on your hard disk image.

PS where did you download 2.2? I have only found 2.0 pre-built and have not succeeded in building 2.2 on Windows as it's much more annoying to compile on Windows than Linux was.

Ah, the win 32 one is 2.0; the 2.2 version is MacOS X only. I have had serious trouble with 2.0 recognizing disk images that 1.8 on Linux handled just fine. I am hoping to (finally) get 2.2 to build to see if that's fixed.

https://winworldpc.com/product/nextstep/3x has Previous images with, IIRC, Previous 1.5 binaries. You might see if that binary can mount your ISO and the base image you want to use for your work then moving the image back to the later and hopefully better binary application.
