| I need to take the chance that this hard drive is still good and reformat with formater.tar which I got form Utilities in files section. First problem is that the unix terminal from the program comes up as a dead terminal and I'm also not sure how to enter the commands necessary. Is there someone out there that can help? Right now my computer says disk loading then goes to a # sign and I have to exit then goes to username password then to desktop........etc. Do you think I should take the chance or should I just wait till I get a new hard drive. This is a 1g so I would like to keep it. I was planning to get new hard drive in about three weeks so there is time where it would be ok to run program, see if you could lend a hand, I'm not that good with unix. |

Are we talking about an emulator here? VirtualBox/VMWare, etc?
You may want to ask about hard disks in the hardware section appropriate to your machine - black (NeXT) hardware/white (intel PC) hardware.
Why use formatter.tar? Are you installing?
What are you booting from? Installation disks or a previously-installed system? _________________ i+ |
