Will NS/OS run on a HP 9000 B1000 Workstation? My guess is no, since it is a newer system, but I wanted to check.

So no thoughts on this? It is a little more than I would like to spend on a whim, but if can run NS/OS, I would be willing to give it a try.

I can't say exactly but my best guess is that it won't work. PA 7100 seems to be the CPU that works and this one is a PA 8500 which looks like it might be 64bit, I'd also guess that the logic board chips changed and the SCSI went wide at this point so you be wasting youe time

I heard a rumor once a long long time ago that one could get NS 3.3 running on a C110 (or maybe it was a B class), but I never confirmed or saw mention of this again....could be an interesting experiment for someone.
