I have been having an issue lately where even though I have opened and viewed all the messages in a thread, the system still flags it as if I had not and marks them in yellow. I use the "newposts" link to keep track of this forum, but that is kind of hard when the viewed threads are not being marked properly. If I explicitly log out and back in, it then seems to mark the threads correctly. I am using firefox on linux mostly lately, in case that helps.

Not a huge issue, but a bit annoying at times.

Hi Chef,

I hear ya. Although I like the look of the forum style that we’re using, it has a lot of quirks. I loaded the new PHPBB 3.x software on the server last week and hope to get it “skinned” with a new style and ready to go live. We’re still using the latest 2.x version, so I need to get up to speed with the version changes.

Thanks for the response Nitro.

The strange thing is that I never had this issue until the last month or so. It will be neat to see what the new version brings, just try to keep it simple so it still loads fast, and does not break support for older browsers like OmniWeb too much.

I am beginning to wonder if this had something to do with the DST mucking around that the US did this year. I just noticed that the forum was now displaying the wrong time for me, even though I had the correct GMT offset selected, and had to shift back one to get it in line.

Has anyone else had these issues, or is it something mucked up just on my end?
