Has anybody had experience with the Canon ObjectStations? Supposedly the successor (but i386-based) to the NeXTstations after NeXT dropped the hardware business and Canon obtained it.

I had a great conversation today with the director of Canon's workstation division at that time. We didn't have time to power up his ObjectStation 41, but it was styled pretty much after the slab: http://peterwong.net/blog/?p=56

Very cool, I'd love to see one in the flesh as it were.

I have one of these in storage but the power-supply is dead.

I can boot it with a replacement power supply but since the unit is low profile I can't seem to find a power supply with the matching height.

Does anyone have any hints on where to get a replacement, or perhaps where to get the old one repaired?

You could try a Mini ITX form factor PSU (if it provides enough wattage, they tend to be low consumption) or a 1U rackserver one.
