Okay, it turns out that we had only filed the customs paperwork for just one of the boxes and not both.
We shipped out again yesterday and this time we have so far left the state.
I hope three is a charm.

So far so good.
It left the Toledo sorting station on the sixth and the next tracking update is scheduled for some time today.
The suspense is killing me.

I'm not surprised. Just take the date of arrival and subtract your join date of "23 Jun 2006" and you can easily see why!

You're going to need to take the day off and record everything on video after all this build up. Smile

FedEx is cutting things really, really fine.
The ETA has now been bumped to the 15th and it MUST be here on that day or else I will not be here to sign for it as I am preparing to go on a two week trip to Samoa.

FedEx tracking reports that it has arrived at the sorting station at 9:03 AM this morning.
It's on the god damned delivery truck and will be here any time now.

Okay.
Box one of two boxes has arrived.
Unfortunately it appears that I have a broken foot and a scratched screen! Shocked I think the cable is also a tad short as well.

Now all that remains is the cube.

Uh oh.
I was about to glue the wheel back together when I heard something tumble around inside. After removing the back (BTW, I'm missing a screw) I found that a magnet had fallen off the yoke and had been flying around inside the case.
That's it. It's time for me to make an insurance claim.

EDIT: A few more sad photos.

I was expecting to find this....They used to be the two rear rubber feet.

For it's age though it's still pretty bright. (note the missing screw)
