Hello NeXT Community: I have had this question a few times in the past few weeks and am really unsure , I also was pointed at overclock.net with 1450 pages of comments and no direct reference to NeXT I thought one of our gurus may knowq.

what kind of key mechanism (the mechanism sitting below each key) do NeXT ADB and Non ADB keyboards use , examples here

Not sure about the ADB Version, but the non-ADB uses standard black Complicated Tactile ALPS switches. More info on them here:
