What's the difference?

Whatever I've sent and is in the "outbox" (I don't know how it got there), has never gotten a reply...

When I've sent PMs, some end up in the sentbox, some in the outbox, and I can't figure out the connection..

Thanks

When you send a private message it shows up in your Outbox until the recipient reads the message, then the message is moved to your Sentbox automatically by the forum software. The message will remain in your Outbox until it's read.

Aha, got it. Thank you. Perhaps you could add that to FAQ, because I search for "sentbox" and "outbox" and the text wasn't found.

Could you also give me a couple hints on two other things:

1) I've tried to have notifications sent when a reply is posted (for example on this thread), but I didn't seem to get any. Are they disabled?

2) I couldn't enable HTML in messages (I was trying to inline photos). Is that permanently disabled? If so, how can I inline photos in posts?

Thanks Nitro

Anyone had luck with HTML tags? How do you inline photos?

Thanks

Hi da9000,

We have HTML tags turned off because they pose a security risk. However, BBcode is pretty powerful and can allow you to do all kinds of things. There are instructions in the FAQ on how to set up inline pictures and more.

Aha, I didn't think to use BBCode to do so... cool, thanks!
