When running OpenStep 4.x versions in Previous 2.2, I get a lot of these kinds of errors:

[DMA] Channel SCSI: Error! DMA not enabled!
and

[DMA] Channel SCSI: Starting with 16 residual bytes in DMA buffer.
Any idea what this is about?

These are just some debugging messages. If you do not have any issues, this is nothing to worry about. I disabled most of the debugging messages, but maybe forgot some of them.
