i've been working with the parallels product for about two days now and have been quite impressed. it's not exactly the most intuitive thing, but it has exceeded all of my expectations. i've had some horrible experiences with the Virtual PC line in the past and had pretty much written off the idea as not usable. the intel chips have changed everything it seems.

ive read some about vmware, but don't know much about it. are there advantages to go with one or the other?

As far's i heard vmware will be a far more professional (than parallels) system supporting more than one CPU within a virtual machine as well as x68-64.
