I remember playing with that back in the day.

It went something like this

• start up game, allowing monster infighting and signals
• Enter map, shoot random thing
• watch in horror as monster infighting starts
• laugh as the Netscape cyberdemon kills the X11 cyberdemon
• find myself staring at a black screen.
