Was there ever a guide for porting an app from NeXTSTEP to OPENSTEP?

I didn't develop too much back in the day but all my apps Simply "ported" by re-building them in the updated project builder app. My simple apps didn't require any code updates. Later I just started taking advantage of some of the updated kits/calls that were not backward compatible.

There's a guide for porting to OpenStep on Solaris, which includes a chapter on managing interface differences (in addition to discussing compiler and OS differences): http://www.nextcomputers.org/NeXTfiles/Docs/Software/OPENSTEP/802-2115.pdf

I'm running into quite a bit of deprecated functions, classes etc. I am Slowly porting old NEXTSTEP and OPENSTEP apps to latest MacOS X. Some I start with NEXTSTEP-->OPENSTEP
